What's your favorite place in Allegheny County?
Residents are encouraged to answer that question at a new Web site, www.alleghenyplaces.com, where they can provide input about the creation of a county comprehensive plan.
The site includes a public survey about infrastructure improvements, community and human services, environmental and recreational resources, investment priorities, transportation, housing and education.
In March, Chief Executive Dan Onorato launched the Allegheny Places project to establish an agenda for future development in the county.
A preliminary draft of the comprehensive plan is due next year. The chief executive and County Council will then have to approve the plan.
