Monday's results

INDIANAPOLIS (6-6) lost at Norfolk, 6-2. Cory Stewart (0-2) gave up three runs and nine hits in six innings. RF Ray Sadler went 2 for 4 with his third home run.

ALTOONA (6-5) beat Akron, 8-4. Matt Peterson (1-1) gave up two runs and three hits in five innings. CF Rajai Davis was 3 for 4 with a double. 1B Brad Eldred was 2 for 4 with two RBIs.

LYNCHBURG (7-4) lost at Potomac, 7-6. 3B Mike Codrell was 2 for 5 with his first home run.

HICKORY (4-8) split a doubleheader with Asheville, winning, 6-2, and losing, 8-2. DH Neil Walker, the Pirates' first-round draft pick last year, had a double in the second game.
