The annual lottery for city picnic shelter permits will start tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.

City residents wishing to reserve picnic shelters for events this year can pick up lottery numbers on the City-County Building portico, then proceed inside for the choosing of numbers at 8:30.

Those seeking permits will need proof of city residency and can pay for their permits with cash, money orders or personal checks. Permits for remaining picnic shelters will be available starting Monday morning at the city's Public Works Department on Second Avenue, Downtown.
