The National Labor Relations Board has ordered Point Park University to begin bargaining with the recently formed faculty union on its campus, rejecting the Downtown school's bid for a new hearing.

Faculty voted last year to join the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh/Communications Workers of America, but the school has refused to bargain, saying it views those employees as managers who are exempt from collective bargaining protection.
