A man who sought bids for grandfather clocks and other items on eBay and Yahoo! but didn't deliver the goods pleaded guilty last week to wire fraud.

Gary J. Pittman, 52, of Canonsburg, faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines when he returns for sentencing before U.S. District Judge David S. Cercone on April 18.

Federal prosecutors said Pittman defrauded more than 40 victims out of more than $52,000 from March 2003 to January 2004.
