If you were stranded on an island, what one thing would you want to have with you? If you wisely answered, "a convenience store," chances are you would not be voted off the island.
With that in mind, scouts from CBS will be at three Pittsburgh-area convenience stores from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow auditioning contestants for the fall season of the hit reality show "Survivor," to be set somewhere in Africa.
The auditions will be held at Robinson GetGo, 6513 Steubenville Pike, 412-494-0780; Belle Vernon GetGo, 4285 Route 51, Belle Vernon, 724-929-6328; and Penn Hills GetGo, 10525 Frankstown Road., Penn Hills, 412-243-0439.
Producers are looking for telegenic individuals who are 18 or older. Candidates should dress in a manner they believe will give them the best opportunity to be chosen, and they will be videotaped describing their personal backgrounds and why they'd be good "survivors." Prepared videotapes will be accepted.
