A Bethel Park man has been charged with sending child pornography over the Internet.

State police said a trooper conducted a child porn investigation by entering a chat room. They said Kenneth Scott, 62, sent illegal images to the trooper in June.

A warrant was served and computer materials seized in August. Scott turned himself in at District Justice Kevin O'Donnell's office in Butler and was released on his own recognizance pending a hearing.
