Sunday, October 24, 2004

It's difficult to believe summer is gone and fall is in full swing. And it's the time of year when youngsters in costumes haunt their neighborhoods in search of Halloween treats.

Following are some trick-or-treat hours and other assorted activities:

California University of Pennsylvania's student television station, CUTV, is producing a Halloween movie called "An Axe to Grind" that will be broadcast at various times on local cable stations over Halloween weekend.

Students developed the original screenplay, a horror story about a college love affair that turns into a Halloween nightmare.

CUTV can be viewed on the following channels: Armstrong Cable in California (Channel 39); Armstrong Cable in Connellsville (Channel 61), Atlantic Broadband (Channel 21) and Comcast (Channel 13).
