Cheerleader fan faces several charges
Thursday, September 09, 2004

Kelly Dawn Hullenbaugh loves cheerleading and watching the pom-pom girls at Greensburg Salem High School. She has several cheerleading uniforms, and enjoys dressing up and pretending.

But Kelly Dawn's real name is Robert Domasky. The 48-year-old transvestite from Greensburg was arrested Friday after school custodians reported seeing him outside the girls locker room.

Greensburg police said caretakers reported "a man dressed as a woman" in the high school at about 7 p.m. Police thought they knew who it might be and went to the suspect's Otterman Street apartment. The man's Jeep was parked outside and a Greensburg Salem gym bag and a hunting knife were on the back seat.

Police entered the apartment and found Domasky, who told them he was Kelly Hullenbaugh. They also found cheerleader uniforms from Greensburg Salem and Hempfield high schools, a yearbook, trophies, cheerleader magazines, mail and identity documents in the names of three women, one of which identified him as a cheerleading coach.

Domasky later told officers he took pictures of the cheering squad without their knowledge, while they waited on Main Street for Friday night's game to start.

He admitted to going to the high school and entering the locker room, but said he was looking for the cheerleading coach "to see if she could teach him some cheers."

Domasky was taken to Westmoreland County Prison, where he chose to be registered as Kelly Hullenbaugh. He is scheduled for a hearing today on charges of identity theft, trespassing and using a false ID.
