Twelve bands will gather next Saturday in Indiana County to raise money for a 4-year-old girl with leukemia.
The benefit, called Rock For Life, is in its fifth year raising money for people with cancer.
Tickets for the all-ages event, which starts at noon, are $10 for the day. Bands, including Pittsburgh rock acts Gutterfly and former members of Hybrid and Sundog, are expected to play until after midnight Sunday.
The show is being held at the Iselin ball field. Directions and other information about the show are at: rockforlife.superxero.net.
Last year's event drew about 1,000 people and raised more than $5,000 for the Helping Hands Society, a charity group that works with cancer patients.
There will be food and other vendors at the fields, and gates open at 10 a.m. Bottles are prohibited, but alcohol is permitted.
Tickets are available at the gate. For more information, call Steve Craven at 412-225-6082.
