What do you think of when you hear the words "Jeep Wrangler?"
Fun to drive. Rough and ready ride. One heckuva outdoor machine. Easy to park. But hey, no storage space and that back seat is a killer, right?

Think of it as "Supersized" Jeep. It has all of the attributes of the Jeep Wrangler that you love -- and none of the ones you're not too crazy about, It's the most civilized Wrangler around and feels quite a bit like a nicely equipped small sport utility vehicle.
Jeep added 15 more inches to the overall length, and 13 of those inches are used for some much needed cargo space. Two more of those inches add second-row leg room. The wheelbase is also longer -- by about 10 inches -- and that means a much better, smoother ride than you're probably accustomed to experiencing with Wranglers.
Another practical point of interest with the Wrangler Unlimited: Towing capacity is up to 3,500 pounds, about 1,500 pounds more than a standard Wrangler. Power for the Wrangler Unlimited comes from a 4-liter, 190-horsepower in-line six, with a four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Fuel economy rating is 14 city and 18 highway.
Prices for a nicely equipped Jeep Wrangler Unlimited start at just below $25,000.
But Jeep's biggest news of all will have to wait until the fall when it introduces an all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Stay tuned.
