Federal agents and local police raided a Carnegie pharmacy yesterday morning as part of an ongoing federal investigation of pharmacies that sell drugs on the Internet.
Agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Internal Revenue Service and Carnegie police searched CMC Pharmacy at 4 E. Main St. No one answered the phone at the business yesterday afternoon.
Officials with the federal agencies and Carnegie police said they could not discuss the raid, which is part of a nationwide crackdown on Internet pharmacies spearheaded by DEA.
