![]() Sheryl Riddle Job: Senior vice president, consulting services, Development Dimensions International Age: 48 Ambition: Continued success as a leader First job: From baby-sitting to manager of a food co-op at Rutgers University. Hardest job/why?: Current job: Every day I work hard to keep our talent and work to earn their continued trust. If I don't manage my business well it would greatly impact the profitability of the organization due to cost management issues. Biggest work challenge ever: Layoffs and terminations; everyone says this, but it's so true. Favorite stock/mutual fund: Vanguard, which provides the best support and well-rounded mutual funds. Away from work I: Work (ha ha); bask in the sun, do yard work (I grew up in a 23-story apartment building with only cement and no grass; so now I love mowing the lawn and doing gardening.) Dream vacation: Wherever there is a beach, a beautiful blue ocean and my family. Favorite book: "Madame Bovary" If I won the lottery, I'd: Get going on that dream vacation. In fact, I would buy a second home somewhere near a beach. I'd certainly be looking at how to share my good fortune with others. |
