Southwestern Pennsylvania Household Hazardous Waste Task Force will hold a hazardous waste collection from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today at the North Park swimming pool parking lot.

Waste materials can be dropped off for $2 a gallon, cash only. The following materials will be accepted: aerosol cans, automotive fluids, batteries, chemistry sets, cleaners, mercury thermometers, paint products, pesticides, garden chemicals, photo chemicals and pool chemicals.
