Preparations are being made for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra to tour Europe under the direction of Hans Graf next year and under the baton of Andrew Davis the following year.

The information was made available on the Web site of Konzertdirektion Hans Ulrich Schmid, a company based in Hanover, Germany, that represents orchestras and artists on tours and in other capacities.

According to the site, Graf would tour with the PSO and violinist Frank Peter Zimmerman Oct. 4-16, 2005. Davis would take the PSO on tour Aug. 15-31, 2006.

"We are not in any position to confirm touring at this point," said PSO spokeswoman Jody Doherty.
