NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Have a legendary night on the town, courtesy of Legends of the North Side. Present your ticket or ticket stub from any theater or museum in the city of Pittsburgh and receive a 10 percent discount off your meal at the restaurant, which is located next door to Allegheny General Hospital. Call 412-321-8000 for more information.

OPEN THAT BOTTLE

If you have the willpower to save good wine rather than drinking it, Feb. 28 is the night to fish out your wine key and unpack the Riedel stemware. National wine writers have united in one cause: Open That Bottle Night.

TESTING NEW ALE

This just in: The Sharp Edge restaurants have been selected to test market Dirty Dick's Ale in the United States. This charmingly named brew, from Young's Brewery in England, is described as "complex with light roasted flavors, mild sweetness and a background toasted malt flavor." You'll find it at both Sharp Edge outposts: the Creekhouse in Crafton and the Beer Emporium in East LIberty.

Fans of "The Apprentice" can gather again Thursday to enjoy NBC's new reality show at The Bridge Bar, in the Renaissance Hotel Downtown, which is featuring a series of limited edition "Pink Slip" martinis, including Trump's Gold Martini ($8.50, a combination of champagne and Grand Marnier), Trump's Big Chief Martini ($9, Ciroc Vodka with a splash of Malibu Rum, Midori, peach schnapps & sweet and sour mix.) and Bowie, to honor the most recent unemployed apprentice. For more information, call Amanda Kengersky 412-473-3419.
