On New Year's Day running back Jerome Bettis burst out of the players tunnel at Heinz Field to the roar of the crowd. With the team's playoff hopes on the line, Bettis scored three touchdowns to lead Pittsburgh to a 35-21 victory over the Detroit Lions and a playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The game was bittersweet for the veteran back, however. It may be his last game before the home crowd.
