FUNDRAISERS

Patterson Heights -- The Community College of Beaver County Foundation will hold its annual HollyDay gala and silent auctions at 5:30 p.m. next Wednesday in the Beaver Valley Golf Club, 725 Sixth Ave. The $15 admission includes two auction tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased. Proceeds benefit the scholarship and assistance fund.

Sewickley -- Reservations are due by Monday for the Dec. 4 fundraiser at Spoiled Chicks the Boutique on Beaver Street. A $5 donation includes beverages, hors d'oeuvres, music, raffles and giveaways. Proceeds benefit the Girlfriend Recovery Club, which provides support to women in physical or emotional distress.

HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS

Beaver Falls -- Children may attend a breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brady's Run Park Lodge, 526 Brady's Run Road. To attend, call 724-622-4159.

Darlington -- A Christmas train exhibit will be open weekends at Greersburg Academy, 710 Market St. The Riding's Family Christmas show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, starting Saturday and continuing through Jan. 4. American Indian storyteller and flute player White Buffalo Heart will tell tales from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 6 and Dec. 20. Admission is free. Author Wayne A. Cole will sign his book, "Ghost Rails IV Industrial Shortlines, Ohio and Pennsylvania" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 6. Call 724-843-4361.

LIBRARIES

Moon -- A Thanksgiving movie and craft day will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Moon Township Public Library, 1700 Beaver Grade Road. To register, call 412-269-0334.

Sheraden -- A session for teens to learn how to make an "encyclopedia crate" for storage will be held at noon Saturday at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 720 Sherwood Ave. Call 412-331-1135.

RELIGION

Bridgeville -- Nationally known recording artist and songwriter David M. Bailey will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. Sunday in Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Ave.

Green Tree -- A marriage enrichment weekend will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. Studies include development of conflict resolution skills and commitment to building a strong marriage. Advance registration required. Call 412-561-2431.

Hopewell -- International Catholic speaker and author Thomas Rutkowski will present a free lecture at 4:15 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima, 2270 Broadhead Road. A rosary will be said at 4 p.m. A healing blessing follows the presentation. Call 724-375-7626 for details.

SALES

Sewickley -- Sweetwater Center for the Arts, 200 Broad St., will hold a holiday mart from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday through Dec. 7. Special events include a preview party from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday; a holiday brunch at 11 a.m. Tuesday; and "Let the Men Cook" from 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5.
