CHURCH ACTIVITIES

North Huntingdon -- St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church will sponsor the following. Call 724-863-7429.

• Turkey Bingo, 1 p.m. Sunday. Doors open at noon.

Unity -- St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Route 119, will hold a Las Vegas Style Super Bingo at 8 p.m. tomorrow in Marian Hall. An early bird game will begin at 7:40. Call 724-834-0709, 724-834-4007, or 724-837-0197.

Unity -- Living Hope Church, 325 Charles Houck Road, will sponsor an address by Col. Robert Boidock, a command chaplain in the U.S. Army, for its worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday in recognition of Veterans Day. Call 724-537-4000.

CONCERTS

Greensburg -- The Westmoreland Cultural Trust will sponsor "American Classics," a performance by the River City Brass Band, at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St. Tickets cost $24, $26 and $31; $22, $24 and $29 respectively for seniors and students. Call 1-800-292-7222.

Penn Hills -- Laketon Heights United Methodist Church, 9601 Frankstown Road, will host a performance by Birdie Nichols and Glorious Rebirth at 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 412-241-9170.

Unity -- Saint Vincent College, 300 Fraser Purchase Road, will sponsor a performance of the Afiara String Quartet at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Robert S. Carey Performing Arts Center as part of the school's classical concert series. The cost is $15 per person.

In addition, a "classic evening" concert and dinner package, with dinner being served at 6:30 p.m. in the Metten Dining Room, will be available for $40.

FUNDRAISING

Irwin -- The Norwin Chamber of Commerce, 321 Main St., is selling 2010 lottery calendars for $20 apiece. Proceeds benefit the chamber's Scholarship Foundation. Call 724-863-0888.

Monroeville -- The James Street Tavern, 1224 James St., will hold a fundraiser featuring guest Bartenders Steve McKelvey and Steve Goldberg from 8 to 10 tonight. Also available will be table games and a ticket auction. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity. Call 412-824-8884.

Versailles -- The Yough Central Model Railroad Club will sponsor a model train show and sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Versailles Volunteer Fire Co., 4919 Third St. The cost is $3 for adults, free for children 8 and younger with adult admission. LECTURES/SEMINARS
