Penguins center Sidney Crosby was named the NHL's No. 1 star for March, when he led the league with 25 points, including a league-best 19 assists.
Crosby had eight multiple-point games of the 15 he played last month and two points streaks of at least five games.
Crosby leads the NHL with 56 points, but it is unclear when he will play again. His jaw was broken, requiring surgery, when he got hit by a puck Saturday.
