The Penguins re-signed forwards Maxime Talbot and Erik Christensen, both of whom were restricted free agents, today.
Both contracts are for two years. Talbot's is worth $650,000 in 2007-08 and $700,000 the following season, while Christensen's deal is worth $750,000 each season.
Right winger Colby Armstrong failed to reach a contract agreement by the 5 p.m. deadline and filed for salary arbitration. Negotiations with him will continue before his arbitration hearing.
Financial terms for Christensen were not immediately available.
The Penguins' three remaining restricted free agents are forwards Colby Armstrong and Tim Brent and defenseman Ryan Lannon.
