I feel a great deal of sympathy for letter writer Bill York and other voters like him who feel they have no choice except to hold their noses as they vote for “the lesser of two evils” in the upcoming presidential election (“Better of Bad Choices,” May 23).
Indeed, I would go so far as to strip the voters in early primaries/caucuses of their citizenship for having made sure that we who vote later were given a choice between a totally untrustworthy person and a carnival barker.
But wait! There is a more palatable alternative: There is another lady running for president — the candidate of the Green Party. Her name is Jill Stein and no one (myself included) who votes for her would have to hold his or her nose. Problem solved!
