We should abandon companies that abandon the U.S.

Inversions of corporations (their choosing to incorporate in foreign countries to avoid U.S. taxes) seems to have “gone viral.” The following also should “go viral”:

1. Informing U.S. citizens which companies have inverted or are planning to invert;

2. Citizens boycotting the products and services these companies provide.

Do we really need to go to Burger King? Who else’s products and services can we do without to make this point? Every person and company that benefits from the tax pot of money needs to contribute to it. The amount may need to be adjusted, but abandoning responsibility is shameful.
