The Post-Gazette's cartoon on Gaza takes a one-sided view

What is the Post-Gazette thinking when it allows such a one-sided and inaccurate editorial cartoon, depicting Gaza as a cell surrounded by Israeli missiles, to run as appeared in Thursday’s paper? The verbiage of the cartoon asks, “Why do they hate us so much?” I would ask why the PG hates Israel so much.

Israel is defending itself from rocket attacks and tunnel terrorist attacks on its citizens. While I’m sympathetic to any loss of civilian lives, the Gazan people voted in Hamas as their leadership and clearly made a poor choice in doing so. Where is the leadership from the rest of the Arab world? Where’s the indignation over Hamas using its own citizens as human shields and hiding rockets beneath houses of worship and U.N. schools?
