Regarding “Not Just Vegetarian, But Vegan,” “Women Credit Diet as a Life-Changer” and “Quick-Acting Protein Could Defend Against Viral Infections” by David Templeton in the July 1 Post-Gazette:

If the three R’s of elementary schools’ “reading, [w]riting, and [a]rithmetic” were to be applied to journalism, they could be research, report and reference. Examples of that instruction and ideal are David Templeton’s three articles cited above.

The personal stories quoted and the scientific studies reviewed provide information, humor and inspiration. More such excellent articles, please!
