PSU’s NCAA fine

Penn State’s NCAA fine related to the Jerry Sandusky case should be used to take care of the kids who were affected by him, not given to whomever the NCAA wants (“Court to Hear PSU Appeal,” May 21). This is money for residents of Pennsylvania.

It should be given as scholarships to students of Penn State for nonsports education. This money has come from the pockets of every tax-paying resident of this state, and our elected men and women who are supposed to support us should not let this money be handed to the NCAA without a fight.
