Which God is it?

Evidently, state Rep. Rick Saccone knows the hearts of the Post-Gazette editorial board or, at least as he calls them, the “faith-hating faction.” Hubris indeed. Mr. Saccone’s “In Rebuttal” commentary (“In God We Trust: The National Motto Belongs in Pennsylvania Public Schools,” May 21) criticized the board for its editorial on his legislation that would have public schools display the motto “In God We Trust.”

Aside from the common-sense position of the editorial, I wonder to which God Mr. Saccone refers, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, etc.? Given his rationale, I suspect he means Christian, which makes one wonder if he means the God of the Old Testament or New Testament?
