Paterno cartoon

I usually enjoy Rob Rogers’ cartoons. He usually makes fun of people who show no concern for the welfare of others. But I was offended by Monday’s cartoon about Joe Paterno.

Joe Paterno did a lot of things for lots of people. He did a lot for Penn State University. He was never convicted in a court of law of any wrongdoing. He was judged guilty by a former FBI official in a one-sided report. That’s like asking a Tea Party member to submit a report on welfare spending. What do you think he’s going to come up with?

Even the prosecutor in the Jerry Sandusky case stated that he didn’t think that Joe Paterno was involved in any cover-up. When is the Post-Gazette going to realize that a grave injustice was done to a great man?
