Credit Israel’s care

I read the article about the shooting and hospitalization of Gennady Kernes (“Gunmen Shoot Ukraine Mayor,” April 29). It would seem that you forgot to mention that in order to assure proper medical attention, he had to be flown to a hospital in Israel.

Do you not think that was an important fact, or was it again that if a criticism of the Jewish country is at hand, you are all over it, but to give credit where credit is due, you ignore it in the case of Israel?

By the way, he was in stable condition after surgery.
