I appreciated your April 18 editorial concerning President Barack Obama’s visit to Community College of Allegheny County’s west campus on April 16 (“Costly Compliment”). Instead of spending our tax dollars by flying all over the country to push his programs, I would like to see the president spend more time in Washington, working closely with both Democrats and Republicans to find common ground and real solutions to our problems in America. We need the president to govern, not to be a public relations pitch man.
