Until reading recent letters to the editor, I thought non-delivery of mail was limited to our route in Crafton.
Since our former mailman left two years ago, we have had frequent days with no mail delivery or we receive mail addressed to others, from a variety of carriers. Also, we receive priority mail packages which are addressed to others. What good is a tracking number if the package arrives at the wrong address?
I have come to the realization that the U.S. Postal Service has retained Newman (a character from the old “Seinfeld” show) as a consultant and he is implementing all of his non-delivery secrets. Postal Service, please hire Jerry Seinfeld ... at least he actually delivers 80 percent of the mail. Recently a steady carrier has been assigned to our route and service is getting better.
