Regarding “Perry High School Freshman Charged as a Juvenile After Alleged Assault” (March 18 post-gazette.com): When I went to Perry High School in the ’50s and ’60s all the teachers stood outside their doors and watched the halls and greeted us all by name. When the bell rang, the teacher closed the door and promptly started the class. If the teacher is not organized the children won’t be either. That goes for the parents, too.
