Cooperate now

The 2016 presidential election is still nearly three years away, yet it seems as if preliminary campaigning is already in full swing. Will Hillary Clinton run or won’t she? The GOP has as many as 16 wannabe candidates vying for our attention. Well, that is all well and good, but aren’t our priorities badly misplaced?

With the myriad problems facing us at home as well as around the world, the concentration should be centered on working with the president currently in office. If you think you can do it better say something now. If you have something to contribute say so now. Everybody, even in Mr. Obama’s own party, is severely critical of the president and his administration but few have solutions.

We have to learn how to cooperate on all levels to improve conditions today, not in three years.
