I’d like to respond to Tom Hohman’s letter “Good Jobs Lost” (Feb. 12). I totally agree with all of Mr. Hohman’s claims of why there is a serious lack of employment.

However, I write because of one particular statement he makes: “Eventually there will be only about 10 consortiums that will own everything in the world.” Back in the late 1950s Argosy was a favorite magazine of mine. A writer then made the same prediction. I believe it is much closer to becoming fact today.
