Theater rudeness

Regarding Tony Norman’s column “Fla. Shooting Case Is Theater of the Absurd” (Jan. 17): I used to enjoy going to movies at least once a week. That is until the cell phone people took over.

People are so rude and inconsiderate of other moviegoers. Just one cell phone lights up a dark theater and there are at least four or five more phones. If these people are so important that they have to keep in contact while the rest of us are trying to enjoy a movie and relax, they should get up and go to the lobby or just stay home.

My answer is to just stay home, which is a shame — it doesn’t seem fair.
