An article that ran on the front page Jan. 17, “Pa. Sees Gaming Revenues Decrease,” belongs in the comics section. It was hilarious! I believe that 90 percent of your readers who indulge in this pastime will agree with me wholeheartedly.
Maybe, just maybe, the reason that the bordering states are benefiting from Pennsylvania’s gaming slot revenue decline (if they are) is the result of a higher payout ratio than Pennsylvania’s. Could increasing the payouts and decreasing their profits be a solution? That will not happen.
But fear not; all is not lost. If you are a card-carrying member and regular player you may be entitled to a $5 or $10 pot, pan, mixer, shaver, etc.
