Every January, our churches and schools reserve buses to attend the March for Life in Washington, D.C. This year marks the 41st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade abortion decision, which legalized abortion in our country in 1973. It meant that a baby in the womb is a non-person with no rights.

We believe that each of these babies is a unique individual. All that is needed is growth and nutrition to be complete. Perhaps one of these little ones holds the solution to the many problems we are facing today. Our greatest natural resource for our future is our children. We don’t just talk the pro-life talk; we walk the walk with each of the girls or women who face a crisis pregnancy. We are here to help and support them. Just knock on the door of our churches or call one of our crisis pregnancy centers and we are here to help.

In the words of the poet Carl Sandburg, “A baby is God’s opinion that life should go on.”

We need to look to the future to protect our young citizens and they will bless America.

God bless our country!
