The Pirates’ logo

Since I’m a fan of our Pittsburgh sports teams, I’m very familiar with all their logos.

After a 20-year wait, we finally have a great baseball team. So why in the world would we change the “Pirate” logo to a “P” logo? That “Jolly Roger” logo is immediately recognizable everywhere.

To the Pirates’ front office: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

If they have so little to do in the off-season, perhaps they should work to continue to build this young team of ours. The Pirates have a great team and a wonderful fan base. Leave well enough alone! Please!
