Regarding the Jan. 7 letter “Health Care Liberty,” which makes a reference to “the morning-after abortion pill”: The morning-after pill prevents pregnancy by delaying ovulation, not by preventing implantation of a fertilized ovum into the uterine lining. It does not cause abortion.
