Act 13 victory

There was a reference to provisions in Act 13 by a physician in the article “High Court Sides With Towns Over Gas Drilling” (Dec. 20) that echoed something from a science fiction novel — “provisions that would have prevented doctors from telling patients about health impacts related to shale gas development.” This group (drilling firms) and their political cronies fall into “pig” category, wherein profit margins outweigh the general well-being of the public, but, hey, look at all the job creation.

My hat is off to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all who contributed to this fine victory. Thank you for caring enough to act and give the people good cause to watch this cancerous invasion with eyes wide open.
