Night riders

For the past several months I have traveled streets in Shadyside and Highland Park areas during both early-morning and late-night hours. I am appalled at the bicyclists who ride in the middle of the street while wearing black clothing with no visible reflectors. They do not stop at traffic lights nor do they ride near the side of the street.

Motorists have to follow safety rules. Why are the bicyclists immune to rules? Perhaps the police should give these riders traffic citations, as they are bound to cause accidents!
