Roadway lines

We have recently heard about the new tax increase to cover our roads and bridges. I wonder if this tax increase will cover new paint so that we can see the road in the evening. I have driven on interstates and local state roads. I find that seeing the lanes is almost an impossibility at night or in the rain.

I recently had to pick up my brother-in-law at the airport in the rain and could barely see the lane division as well as others and had to use my horn more than once to keep drivers in their lane. The reflectors don’t help much, as you can’t see the lines along the berm of the road to guide you properly.

Wouldn’t this be an inexpensive way to solve a potential major situation?
