"The Affordable Care Act is now a law! "

Bonnie Gregg's letter "Obama's Attitude" (Oct. 20) is terribly ill-informed, or she just listens to the right-wing talking heads.

The Affordable Care Act is now a law! It was voted on in President Barack Obama's last term, and the Supreme Court upheld its constitutionality. And we even voted to re-elect President Obama.

The constitutional way to change a law is vote to change Congress, then repeal the law. This doesn't mean to try to negotiate its change by threatening the U.S. economy if a law is not repealed or defunded.

I certainly appreciate Mr. Obama's stance on this matter -- he is correct.

No negotiations are acceptable on changing this law!
