It's about time. I don't live in the Hill, but I am elated for the people who have finally got a supermarket in their end of town ("Hill District Finally Gets a Supermarket," Oct. 17). They desperately needed a store within walking distance.

It must be a relief to go to a store within a few streets from your house, especially for the seniors who previously had to board a bus to the South Side and then carry shopping bags back onto the bus.
