A Curtis resource

I am a longtime collector of Edward Curtis photographs. I have authored eight books on his work and have sent exhibitions of his work to more than 40 countries. I recently saw your Oct. 6 article "Revisiting Immortal Photos" about Edward and the new Curtis book by Timothy Egan.

I thought your readers might be interested to know that you have a wonderful resource for original Curtis photographs in Pittsburgh. Four Winds Gallery has been handling and exhibiting Curtis' work for more than 30 years and is a great local resource for people interested in seeing Curtis' photographs as well as the Native American pottery and baskets seen in so many of Curtis' photographs.
