I wonder if letter writer Matthew Burk ("Rogers Wrong Again," Oct. 6) and the National Rifle Assocation think their Second Amendment rights supersede the inalienable right of the 20 first-graders and six adults who were slaughtered at Newtown, Conn., to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
