Renaming 16th Street Bridge an appropriate honor for McCullough

I applaud the leadership of Allegheny County for deciding to rename the 16th Street Bridge in honor of world-renowned author and historian David McCullough. He is the premier historian of our time and his Pittsburgh roots run deep.

David McCullough has served our country well by using his extraordinary gift to write about American history. Mr. McCullough's vocation has brought great honor to his native city. It is wonderful that the span over the Allegheny River at 16th Street will be forever known as the David McCullough Bridge.
