The Kenny Chesney concert aftermath of abandoned trash sounds awful. Contrast that with the 2013 Three Rivers Arts Festival, which contracted with a group called Zero Waste, which provided not only cans for waste (trash, recyclables and compostables) but also attendants who helped festivalgoers decide which can was appropriate for their waste.
The festival also had a bicycle-powered cart labeled Green Gears that prowled the grounds carting away filled bags of waste. Kenny Chesney needs to hire these folks next time he comes to Pittsburgh.
