Kelly's nasty remark

I was disgusted with the March 31 column by Jack Kelly, "Democrats Divided: Yet the Media Keep the Focus on the GOP's Travails." In the next-to-last paragraph, he refers to the likely Democratic presidential candidate in 2016 as an "old white woman."

Likely Mr. Kelly is an old white man who lives outside of everyday life in the United States. If he stands by that remark, he needs to call the Republican members of Congress all old white men because they have been in office for what seems like forever.

As a final note, I am 89 years old, have been married 63 years to a woman I love and respect, and as a result have witnessed the wonderful work and lives of women in our country.
