Regarding the recent incident in which a man was bitten on the face by a pit bull in Mt. Lebanon, the powers-that-be responsible for the current leash law should expand the criteria to include muzzles for aggressive types of dogs, e.g. Rottweilers, Dobermans, Pit Bulls, Shepards, Akitas, etc., so that if they should escape the walker's leash, at least it won't harm anyone. This could be further expanded to include the animal's weight, so that people would be safe around leash-loose larger animals who might not be aggressive, just large.
